The Embrace Project was an embroidery series I created in 2020, celebrating 75+ incredible women from all walks of life. Each piece honoured real bodies and real stories — life, love, growth and resilience — and yet so many photos arrived with apologies attached. This project was about gently unpicking that.

I’ve been quietly stitching my life into fabric since 2019 — creating Thread Journals that capture memories, moments and the in-between details that might otherwise be forgotten — and my hope is to share this practice more widely as a gentle, creative way to support better mental health and emotional wellbeing.
